Julian Huertas, Pres., Rotary Club of Westbury-Carle Place, Westbury, NY
Our Rotary has been distributing dictionaries to 3rd graders for about 6 years. It is a wonderful project. With the emphasis on using technology, kids don’t use books as much as in the past. They love the books. We enjoy highlighting some of the special pages in the book.

Dear Norton Grange, Thank you for my dictionary. I am very thankful for my dictionary because I love to read, but sometimes I don’t really understand the meaning of a word, and my dictionary helps me. I like to read dictionaries, but a multiplication table? You guys are awesome! Thanks again! Sincerely, Clayton (P. S. Where did you get the dictionaries?)
