Children of Africa project
The local Dictionary Project is well underway, and we suspect there were a lot of smiling faces on the 3rd graders throughout District 7470.
Give a kid a backpack
The Dictionary Project donated 3,000 dictionaries to be included among the school supplies delivered by Give A Kid A Backpack as part of Continuing Promise 2010.

As part of the Certified Literate Community Project, dictionaries were handed out to third grade students at Cross Creek Elementary School.
Groton Rotary Club assists students
The Groton Rotary Club has distributed 357 dictionaries to students in the Groton school system.

Third graders receive dictionaries
Third graders at 10 Harnett County primary and elementary schools recently received new paperback dictionaries, which were donated by David and Anne Hobson of Pinehurst, formerly of Dunn.

The Dictionary Project in central Vermont
The Central Vermont Rotary Club has completed the distribution of the dictionaries. We gave out all but six dictionaries, out of five cases.
