Full Stack Web Developer
Location: San Diego, CA or Charleston, SC
Job Type: Full-time. On-site with possibility for partial remote.
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000.
Job Summary
You would be responsible for assisting with the design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications and components for front and backend systems as part of a small team.
We are currently engaged in a relaunch of our website and its underlying services this month. You will be assisting us in our goal of getting the new services live and performing ongoing maintenance and bug fixes.
We are looking for a capable candidate with experience running production applications serving real customers in the wild. You will have the opportunity to contribute new ideas and have a significant personal impact on our future technology projects.
There will be some required travel.

Tech Skills and Experience
- BS/BA in computer science or a related field, or equivalent
- Web application development; min. 5 years experience
- Kubernetes; GKE a plus.
- HTML, CSS; a solid understanding of responsive web design practices
- SQL, with a solid understanding of relational data models and data normalization principles; MySQL a plus.
- UI/UX or graphic design a plus; Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- RESTful API design and usage
- Modern best practices such as TDD/BDD, continuous integration (CI), and at least a few software design patterns
- Git version control.
- Ruby on Rails; Passenger
- PHP; Magento, and Zend Framework experience a plus
- JavaScript, Typescript; React or another front-end framework
- Google Maps, QuickBooks, Authorize.net API integration
- Google Cloud Platform experience a plus
System Administrator

Job Summary
You would be responsible for configuring, supporting, maintaining, upgrading, specifying, and documenting infrastructure for our online store, supporting services, and future projects as part of a small team. You would also be responsible for the administration of office computer systems, phones, and networks, and cloud services, as well as troubleshooting, and performing performance, security, and efficiency audits.
