This is our 4th year of participation. The children love the dictionary, which gives much more information than just words.

The Kittanning Rotary club works with the Armstrong School District in purchasing dictionaries for all 3rd grades students for the entire district. All of the Kittanning Rotary Club members will distribute the books on the same day at the same time. This will be the third year for this project. We think this project is great and a great way for the Rotary be involved with education.

This will be our second year sharing this project with the school district. This is a wonderful inexpensive way for our small club to share educational material with children who may not have access to a book or dictionary. It is great to see the child’s face light up when you tell them they can write their name in the dictionary and its belongs to them.
