I have been participating for three years. I distribute the wrapped dictionaries to the students just before winter break. Each dictionary is inscribed with the words, “May you always have the information you need at your fingertips.” I think this is a great program to support children in learning and provides them with a valuable resource, which previous students have come back and told me they still have and use years later. Many students have shared it with family and I have been told it was the first dictionary in their home.
