We have been doing this project for over five years and the 3rd grade teachers count on it, as well as the children loving the fact they can keep the books for themselves. Each school brings all 3rd graders to an assembly and we have a fun program that lasts about 15 minutes. We stand at the door and each child always thanks us as they leave, some even giving hugs. We love to do this.. In this age of electronics, it is important to introduce and emphasize actual printed books to each generation, as they get less and less of them. Keep up your good work!.
