Stephanie Steinhauser, Fayette County Republican Women, Flatonia, TX

This is my first year as Literacy Chairman of this project. I decided to take it on after being a helper for distributing the books. It is by far one of the most rewarding projects that I have ever been involved with. My favorite story is of a young girl that saw me at a football game on Friday night. She ran up to me, wrapped her arms around my legs and said, “Thank you for the dictionary, I just love it Mrs. Steinhauser. I use it all the time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.” A great outreach!
