 For the past several years the Westbury-Carle Place Rotary Club has welcomed my third grade students back to school with dictionaries of their own. This year Cathy Handy, Julian Huertas and Larry Boes presented the dictionaries to my 106 students who excitedly began flipping through the pages. They soon discovered that the dictionary was more than a resource to look up words, but had information that spanned all the curriculum areas. One third grader summed it up by exclaiming, "This is an awesome book! It has the answer to a million questions!"
