Jean Meehan, Prospect Grange # 144, Prospect, CT

This will be the 8th year we will be giving 3rd graders dictionaries in the Algonquin School Regional 16 schools. The principal of the Algonquin School is really thrilled with this project and the students feel special and the second graders look forward to getting their very own dictionary when they are in the 3rd grade. This project is well worth doing. The thank you notes from each of the 125 or so students each year are just precious. Jean Meehan and Inez Bramhall (age 90) make sure these dictionaries are ready and the hand made bookworm book marks are made and ready to give to each student. Around 900 dictionaries have been given out to students in this school district.
