This is our 4th or 5th year for our dictionary project. We began with the Ardmore City Schools District with 3 elementaries (Jefferson, Lincoln and Charles Evans) Franklin Elementary was shut down 2 years ago and the school boundary lines were redrawn. Those students are now either at Lincoln, Jefferson, or Charles Evans. The next year we included Plainview. Now we distribute dictionaries to the 3rd grade students at Ardmore City Schools, Plainview, Springer, Dickson, and Lone Grove. We will give over 600 dictionares to students and teachers.. Part of the core curriculum for 3rd grade is research and using a dictionary is part of the testing. The schools, teachers, and students are so excited to receive a dictionary from us..
