This is the 7th year of participation by the Rotary Club of Murray. With the 332 books distributed this year, the club will have distributed a total of 2,506 books. In consultation with the two school boards and administrations for the first year of 2004, it was decided to give the books to 4th grade students because this grade was writing portfolios. We have continued this practice. The school administrators and teachers have continued to be highly appreciative of this program.
