This is our 2nd year with the project. With the assistance of an Americorps/Washington Reading Corps volunteer the program was sponsored by our local Deer Park Rotary last year. This year the same Americorps/Washington Reading Corps volunteer arranged for the program to be sponsored by a local business owner and his wife. After this year the Loon Lake PTO, here at the school, will take over the project to be sure it is continued. This is an awesome project. The students, teachers and parents love the books…and the students are using them!!!
