There’s something about the nip in October’s air that gets me to thinking about two of my favorite organizations: The Dictionary Project and Operation Warm.
On the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 25, members of the Denville Rotary Club doled out dictionaries at three local schools, Riverview, St. Mary’s Prep, and Lakeview.
Over 15,700 dictionaries have been handed to third graders the Orange Unified School District.
The Chambers County Republican Women gives a dictionary to every third grader in all three school districts in the county each year.
Third-grade students at Pine Island Public School received a gift that will last them a lifetime - their very own dictionaries.
