The Grange makes and sells apple butter at the apple festival to raise money for The Dictionary Project.

This is the sixth year that the Orangevale Grange # 354 has been giving a dictionary to every 3rd grade student in the Orangevale and Fair Oaks communities. It is just great. All the students and teachers rave about how complete the dictionary is and that it fits perfectly in their backpacks.

This will be our eighth year. The teachers and students look forward to it each year. We think the project is fantastic. The people from the Grange think very highly of Mary French.

The Milton Grange has distributed dictionaries for a number of years now and the 3rd grade students are really enthusiastic about receiving them.

This will be our 6th year and we have greatly enjoyed seeing the students’ faces when they receive their book with their name in it. We have sponsored this program for several years and our Grange is very proud to do this. The school district children look forward to us every year. I think this is a fantastic project to help our young people learn the basics to carry on in their lives.

We have participate for several years in this project and find it very rewarding. The members enjoy visiting the students and handing out the books as much as the students enjoy receiving them.

The kids love getting their own dictionary and write wonderful thank you letters to the Grange. What a wonderful program for them and us!

Giving books to the school for 7 years. This is our 8th year and hope that these books have gone on and that at least some will be with their 10th grade student. It is a great project and is well received by the teachers and students alike.

The kids and teachers were excited to get the dictionaries and start learning to use them. The teachers asked to have them at the start of the year so they can use them all year long.
