This is the 5 year that the Orangevale Grange #354 has chosen to donate dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Orangevale, California. We receive nothing but great comments from the teachers and students about how useful the dictionaries are.

We have donated dictionaries to all the children in the Eatonville School District for seven years now. This will be our third year participating in this project. We have embraced this project at our Lodge and feel that it is a very worthwhile project.

This will be our second year, and is a community service project for our Grange as part of the National Grange program. Last year we handed out 158 dictionaries to the third graders at the George Hersey Robertson School. This is 3rd or 4th year we have participated. We believe this to be a worthwhile thing to do. The schools have been happy to have the students get these dictionaries to own. Thank you for the opportunity to participate and help the students in our community.
